Every now and then when I go to give my car a little gas the pedal sticks and I have to push down a little harder. It doesn’t stick a whole lot but you can definitely tell it does not go down that easy. Any Ideas on why that might be happening?

There are several things that can cause a sticking accelerator pedal. The cable that runs from the pedal to the throttle body is a common source of trouble as well as the throttle body itself. If you are comfortable working on the car yourself then remove the air cleaner or any tubing the may be in the way and unhook the cable at the throttle body and make sure that throttle body moves freely on it,s own and if that is OK then have a helper push on the accelerator pedal while you keep a steady pull on the cable from the outside and see if it moves freely. obviously if the throttle body moves freely with no binding then it is OK so that leaves the cable or pedal so check them and determine the cause that way. Good luck.

This problem can't comprise age, or in the different case, on any automobile with operating brakes: the brakes are continually more beneficial valuable than engine torque. This has been validated many situations; each and anytime a persons'' claimed in the different case, there is another ingredient (pedal confusion, sheer worry, actual fraud) contributing.
