Go to your local public library and get a copy of Writers Market 2006. This will have a listing of magazine's that accept poetry submissions and the rules of submission. If you are looking to be published but not necessarily paid, go to www.poetry.com. You can post your poetry here and it is automatically entered into contests for publication.

Good luck. Its a hard business full of rejection and hard hearted editors. But, if you stick it out, it is worth it in the end.

Poetry.com will publish it for you, if you are willing to pay. It starts at $500+ for 15 copies of a 60 page book, w/o illustrations. It goes up from there.

I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for, but it is the only one I can offer. If you think you can sell your life, soul, and words of wisdom for $40 a copy, you might just turn a profit. Or if you are willing to invest more... (www.poetry.com)

Believe me - I wish I knew. I'd like to be published, too.

You can,t, Well you can but they only send it back. I suppose it,s worth trying if it,s good enough but don,t get your hopes up. Send me a verse of something (only 1 verse) and i,ll give you an opinion.
