We have two kids and have not gotten away alone for a LONG time. We live in upstate NY and need some suggestions on romantic get aways. We can only take two to three days. Any suggestions?

well time to get a sitter for the weekend. If i were you depending on finances. I would purchase a nice black dress, a little revealing, black bra, thong, garterbelt with black stockings and nice 3"-4" black heels. Go out for a nice dinner together then work you way back to the hotel..
During dinner remove the thong or panties. Then as your leaving from dessert hand him the panties. By time you get to the room and close the door you two will be all over each other :

Try going to a cabin, or maybe a bed and breakfast. There usually is no TV, radio etc. Most have champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting on your arrival.
Even staying home, unplugging the phone, an adult movie?
You could even start sending little secret admirer flowers, notes stuff like that.
Definitely, try and plan a dinner out, returning home with the kids at a sitter for overnight can be great. Getting away for more than a day is so hard with younger children.
If all else fails, call and talk dirty while he is at work, when he gets home from work, be dressed in something sexy, have candles lit, and a nice dinner with that adult movie. And if you are against adult movies, there are more out there than just porn.

A nice bed and breakfast. Maybe you go shopping to Victoria Secrets and pick something up. Get some candles, oils and wine. Go out to dinner and then stay the night at a hotel.
You can also have a family member watch the kids and plan a romantic evening at home.

Try a paddle boat ride for just the two of you this was a fun experience for my husband and I when things seemed to be lacking in romance I really couldn't believe how romanctic it was and things from that point seemed to improved, also you could join a Outdoor Adventure, it's always there anytime and plenty of them to pick from maybe some close to your area (also the kids if you want them to go sometime would love it)! but the best thing is that you and he could get away anytime for less!

Depends on how much you can spend. Niagara Falls Canada Hotel overlooking the falls was one of the most romantic times my wife have ever spent alone.
Get room over looking the falls with hot tub. Buy some wine and enjoy being alone in a most beautiful setting.

While this is not an immediate answer to your question here is a long term suggestion. Find a copy of a book called "Light His Fire" and "Light Her Fire" by Ellen Kreiderman (sp?) I'm sorry that I don't have the correct spelling for the authors name. The books are out of print, but are wonderful! Whenever things get a bit stale, including my attitude, I read through my copy of the book and I haven't figured out what I do, but my sweetie always perks up and starts paying lots more attention to me. I will swear by the book!!!

do you camp or are you more the hotel type a bed and breckfast mybe .get away from the crouds one day away from the crowds well do ya wonders in fact to much time together well lessn the totle time spent away .find a beach the woods and go for a walk looking for a place to snuggle and coo enjoy the first part of this is over you have decieded to enjoy some time together that in it self is wonderful

1st try romance at home when the children are asleep then you can progress to a night on the town. Romance your husband by putting the children asleep ie. a nighttime cold medicine. Then put on a sexy teddy, light candles, pour 2 glasses of champagne, massage him down with exotic warming possibly tasteful body oil and fulfill some but not all of his fantasies. Then excel to a night on the town with a hotel stay and play play and play. When your marriage suffers good sex always bring closeness.

day one will if you got 2 to 3 day get a nice hotal and you can go out on the town with one other. when you get back to the hotal your hudband can gave you a hot long bath with rose in it and a lit bubbles oil you up and make love to u.
day two shop for what ever you and hem what to for your to not the kids made a day out of it go to the club that night.

The place does not matter as much as what you do when you get there. Secretly pack all kinds of neat stuff to surprise him with once your there. Could be something as simple as canned whip cream or you can go as kinky as your relationship will tolerate. Have fun!!!!!!!
