go on a long walk with only water to drink. Make a plan to keep going for five hours, if your heart is OK. Then go and have a salad. Then go to a spa and sweat the rest off. This way, you don't lose muscle tone or get weak. This will take a mere two days.

No - don't starve yourself.

If you want to do a cleansing fast for up to two days, you can - drink water and fruit and vegetable juice, or only eat fruits and veggies - but that should be your limit. Don't exercise while you're fasting - a light walk is plenty. This isn't to do without calories - this is just to "reset" your system. After the fast (if you choose to do one) continue to eat sensibly (www.fitday.com will give you your calorie requirements - you may need to be eating MORE caolries than you think - my weight didn't drop until I increased my calries) and work out regularly. Maybe mix it up a little - definitely add strength training if you aren't already doing it. Alternate a cardio day with a weight lifting day - you'll see the results fast. If you need something more structured (I sure did) the workouts from Beach Body are great - we did Power 90. Try belly dancing too - it's cardio and reisistance training at the same time.

Hi
Starving will not help as you might be tempted to binge instead try this plan it really worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

Don't Starve Yourself.. Lose fat this way eat a few pickles in the morning.. follow with toast and glass of lemon juice. Avoid meats and oily foods. Drink plenty of fluids.. water is good but boring.. unsweetened apple juice is good! Keep your sugar consumption down. If you need sugar eat bananas or papaya. Do not eat salty items before you go to bed!

Apparently, he is a very popular guy - a cultural icon for many people. I read somewhere that the subway folks wanted to drop him from the commercials at one point and they actually saw their revenues drop during that period. So they had to bring him back. This kinda illustrates the power of their campaign. More importantly, the general public does seems to draw inspiration from the Mr clean or Mr healthy showcasing products whether we follow them or not.

If you lost a lot of weight it may just be skin which doesn't shrink back so you'll need cosmetic surgery. If it's just fat that last 10 lbs is very hard to lose so Liposuction might be the simplest thing.

Don't starve yourself... You'll get fat again. Evolution has provided us with a survival mechanism to protect us in times of famine. Your metabolism will slow down to preserve the fat so that you can survive. It would be a bad decision. Don't concern yourself with the "ideal" weight... you should be more concerned about how you look and feel.

you hit a plateau - which is common.

starving yourself is conterintuitive - you body will go into starvation mode and store more fat!

i would try a new routine - your body gets used to certain activities you should do something else. you could also be losing fat and building muscles which will increase your weight - but using those muscles you will burn more calories.

if you think you have room to lose more weight then keep exercising and replacing fat with muscle tissue.

that is because you came to a point where your body is just used to burning whatever you are eating. The weight that is still there is old, and is harder to lose.
What you need to do is workout a little bit harder, a more intense workout will help.
