Guessing you're female....do you take your make-up off every night?

Boots do a good range of treatments, called Skin Clear I think (same sort of stuff as Clearasil etc but a bit cheaper!). They have a liquid cleanser which cleans all the grim from your face that regular cleanser don't. Use it after you've taken your make-up off (or if you're a man, just use it before bed every night). They also do a good facial scrub which is good to use in the mornings, and a gel to apply directly onto spots.

Also drink lots of water and eat fruit. And don't touch your face too much

Hello there, Im 50 and still get the odd eruption!. The first thing is to make sure you cleanse your skin thoroughly night and morning. Spots are clogged pores and pores need air to breathe. Give yourself a pampering face pack once a week as well, the type that deep cleanses your skin. The ones from Body Shop are good, natural ingredients and value for money. Make sure you have some concealer as well. Enjoy your day and try not to get too stressed, everything will go well, and people look more at the overall effect than just your face. Good luck for the future! xx

I was exactly the same - and it's a pain in the ***. I am 26, eat healthily, drink loads of water etc. I even did a Gillian McKeith detox which seemed to make it worse!
What did help though (and now I only get the odd spot now and again) is using an exfoliating flannel / cloth, and every other day with an anti-bacterial soap rub your whole face in small circular motion quite firmly with the cloth, (not too hard though). It took about 10 days to really make a difference but it really woked. Don't forget to keep moisturising, good luck!

If i use anything other than sensitive eye make up remover and water on my face i get spots. Cut out all soap and products and get back to basics to see if this is the prob. I recently read about a yeast based product that is working wonders on spots, ask at your chemist. Good luck on your big day x

Do you have a balanced diet and drink loads of water? If not give that a go. If it is still bad you could go to your Dr and they will give you something for it. According to Gillian McKeith (Evil Devil Woman) their location on your face will determine what is causing them.

Are you talking acne or reddish marks? If it's more flushed and reddish, you might have rosacea - particularly if you are fair skinned. It is commonly developed in women of Scandanavian descent in their 20's.

Get a dog to lick your face as much as possible, this will clear them up.
