I just started my period about 3-4 months ago. Is it normal when your body is just starting up and you have your period for about 2 weeks?

Sure it's normal - I don't think I had a regular cycle until I was about 16 or 17. If it gets very erratic or irregular your doctor may put you on birth control pills to regulate it - or you could check into alternative therapies.

At this stage, I wouldn't worry about it though. Welcome ot womanhood!

Yes. Irregularity is perfectly normal for the first 6 months of mentruation. After that though, if you are still irregular...go see your doctor.

This is not uncommon for new periods. It could, however, cause you to become anaemic. Make an appointment with your doctor and get this take care of; it is a rather easy problem.
