Ganguly

Both are good captains but its the one who is able to handle the pressure in tense situations, whose body language remains positive till the last ball is bowled,in all these aspects Rahul is way ahead of Ganguly. But then Ganguly is a good captain as long as the going is good for him and the team, but once the pressure starts telling then his whole body language changes, as he shouts and yells at the fielders for misfields and dropped catches. In these situations you have to keep a cool head and should encourage the fielders as no one drops or misfields deliberately. He is only making it worse for the fielder. But rahul is cool and collected during tense situation. You cant read anything from the expression on his face. While Ganguly will be tensed, chewing his nails, gesturing wildlyto the fielders. Also when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.Who else but rahul has shown this fighting quality time and again. He loves challenges thrown at him and will not flinch a bit.He is ready to take the fight head on to the rival camp. Also after becoming India's captain his batting has risen to new heights and his willingness to open the innings in West Indies and his commitment towards the team and the players do really shows his growing stature not only in Indian cricket but also in world cricket as they have great respect for Rahul.

It is too early ask this question coz rahul didnt captain a single traingular series as of now (he did once in absence of Ganguly when he was banned for two or three matches in Sri Lanka - Asia cup but lost to the hosts)

As per to the statistics...Ganguly is a successful captain for india then Rahul (Obviously he has to prove himself and didnt play much cricket as captain)

Rahul Dravid...
Better captain
Better Batsmen
Better Fielder

I think Rahul dravid. He is probably the best batsman also.
If you take a look at Indian matches, he picks out the spot where a particular batsman tries to hit the ball(in the air for a little while) so he places a fielder there and tells his bowler to bowl some particular line and then in a few deliveries the batsman is gone.
For example he put a fielder for the square cut of Kamran akmal in the recent Pak-India series.

Dude.........

Ganguly was a good captain. Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj, Kaif are all his creation. But he is the past.

The present captain is Dravid. I could tell that he is a better captain because he lead the team with example as a leader.
He proved to be quite good & as well as he has a good personality. He is fine gentleman.

Therefore Rahul Dravid is a better captain.

I consider Rahul Dravid the better captain compared to Gangully considering his team spirit, manners, ability to get along with the team members, coach and support staff, his consistency and above all the leadership qualities to lead from the front

well you have misspeled the word captain, but neways
Ganguly in one hand and rahul in the other hand , the captainship of ganguly weights more than dravid. from my point of view ganguly could devote more motivation and enthusiasm toward the team well dravid in present context devote his more time toward his career and has no team men ship. hes selfish with his performance.

There is no doubt its definitely GANGULY.......Courageous Captain India has never seen. When he assumed the captain for india India Has lost Azhar and Jadeja ,it is something like losing Dravid and Yuvraj nowadays...He stopped the downfall of indian cricket team....SO GANGULY the BEST EVER

Ganguly is better than Dravid. Now-a-days, he is not allowed to play for the team, or else he would have scored well.
