How much do mountains generally go for, these days?

2 million - is that all? I know some houses that will sell for that amount and they're tiny in comparison. Imagine what you could do with a mountain - imagine getting lost on one and living in a cabin high up somewhere? If you were rich enough to own a mountain, you'd be rich enough to employ people to provide security and to take food to you. I recon you'd need at least a billion pounds.

Life would be sorted if you owned a mountain.

I saw Mount Snowdon on Ebay the other day. Naturally, I pounced and ended up winning it for the royal sum of 5 pounds and 39 pence. A bargain, I thought. The only downside is the seller won't post and is insisting on pick up only. Now I've got to figure out a way to get it over to Australia.

It would rally be a good idea to buy the surrounding valleys as well. What if there's a mud slide that kills a bunch of people below? Would you want to pay for the liabilities?
