NOt long enough--one of those books, great, great books, that you can't help but be sad when it ends. No more Yossarian. How sad.
Unfortunately the sequel--Closing Time--didn't measure up, the best bits being reminescents from the first.

I didn't particularly care for the book. It took me three days. I probably should reread it since I seem to enjoy books more the second time around.

I tried reading it twice. First time it was in Serbian (my native lg), and the second time in English. I couldn't finish it. I understand the absurdity and the humor, but it was just not enough for me...

No way to find out, because I cannot answer your question without reading the book and I cannot read the book while answering your question.

I do not recall ever having heard of this particular book or reading. What is it about?

First time, it took me the day. Second, third, and all subsequent readings, I read it slowly and savoured every bit of it!
