As opposed to what, the countries of the world that practice torture and turn women into second-class citizens or practice genital mutilation? Or maybe the ones that segregate portions of their population based on how they worship God or what they look like? In some ways America is doing okay and in other ways there is room for improvement. Instead of judging us with loaded questions like this, why don't you find ways to get involved so you can be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

No, imposing our right values to others that do not want them is always wrong, and costly. We need to take care of own first.
