If your eating patterns have remained the same during pregnancy as they were before you got pregnant, you can expect to lose some weight during this time as your baby grows. If you do eat an extra 500 calories a day to supply your baby with what it needs to grow, then your body will supply those calories in another form.
When I was carrying my son, I dropped 8 llbs in the first trimester, then stayed the same weight during the second trimester even though my belly was visibly expanding. I didn't begin to gain weight until the end of my 8th month of pregnancy. My son was born healthy at 9lbs and 10 ozs. So don't worry about the weight loss. Unless you have some condition of which your doctor should be aware that would warrant worry, you should be fine.

It could be because of morning sickness. Talk to your doctor. But if it is morning sickness don't worry too much about it. It will pass soon then your should be gaining weight. If you are over weight you may lose weight during your preg. This is also normal.
Good luck to you.

First of all, talk to your doctor. I didn't gain one pound when I was pregnant wth my daughter until I was three months pregnant, mostly due to nausea and lack of appetite.
The doctor can either give you something for the nausea (since you are at 3 months now, hopefully it is almost gone now), or he can give you suppliments.
But don't worry, I am sure everything is ok.

I lost 20 pounds in my first trimester. I found out that my thyroid wasn't working right. Plus I had horrible morning sickness. You might need to have your thyroid checked. I also had gestational diabeties and I don't know if that affected it or not but it would be good to check.
