There is not one answer. If you are a newly hired (straight out of college) assistant professor of finance, your annual salary is $140,000. If you are a tenured full professor in the arts you are lucky to make $60,000 a year. People in medicine, maybe $90,000 at full professor. Life isn't fair--it's all market driven.

It depends on what department, what school, and what level they are, but the range tends to be $2800- $7500 for undergraduate before taxes. The more prestigious the school and the more competitive the discipline, the higher the salary.
For teaching graduate or professional school the salary increases dramatically. That is when you can see $6500-$10000 a month.
