I'm going to straighten my hair and where a tan t-shirt with a brown bull head on it and Gold western lettering that says This Girl Don't Take No Bull. I'm also going to wear faded blue jeans with a hole in the knee. And probably flip flops. I'm going for a southern look. What do you think?

I'd add a belt with a big buckle if you're going for the southern look. It doesn't have to be like a trucker buckle, but something cute and metal would be great!

I also agree, this sounds like a cute outfit. You might want to remember that whatever you wear on the first day of school will be what you are judged by from friends, teachers, etc.
So if you don't want to be remembered as a grungy kid, dont wear grungy stuff.
But the out fit sounds super cute, I think that shirt is pretty awesome. Good luck in school.

it sounds cute! I wouldn't add a belt or cowboy boots like some suggested because it's too matchy machy. Stick with the flip flops but don't wear the cheap foam ones, go with leather ones or some with embellishment on them and don't forget to give yourself a pedicure.

right now the big trend is back to basics. what i am saying is the more classic classy look is back in. i like the shirt but i am not to big on the ripped jeans. i feel that ripped jeans are not worth what you pay for them. i mean 100 bucks for ripped jeans isn't that cheap. you can buy jeans for 20 bucks and rip yourself. i think that you should wear jeans that aren't ripped because it would show more class. i know that you are going to the southern look but that doesn't mean that you need to look like a hobo

Just so there's no question if this will be appropriate, check your handbook that the school should have given to all students. Schools have a 'dress code' policy that students must follow. If there's nothing in this policy that disagrees with what you are wearing, then you should be ok.
If school says something to you, then just say 'show me in the dress code policy that this is not acceptable'

do the jeans have a brown fade.. if not then maybe you should wear some that do.. but its still sounds cute, as long as you wear the right accessories, like some cute earrings and a belt would really set it off !!

It all depends on which knee the hole is in your jeans. If the hole is in the left knee, then you're fine. If the hole is in the right knee, it might mean you're a lesbian.
