Morning after pill must not be used instead of contraceptives. Morning after pills injects an excessive amount of estrogen into your body to prevent pregnancy. If you use it too often you might be increasing your risk of getting breast cancer. According to the literature, you may have no side effects so be thankful and ask your doc to prescribe contraceptives for you. Remember that oral contraceptives do not protect you from STD and AIDS so if you must have sex, please be wise and use a condom.

Some women do get unusual bleeding after using emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs, "morning after pills," or "day after pills") because of the hormones in the pills. If that's the cause, it's not dangerous, and it will probably go away by itself after you get your next period. It's also possible that your unusual bleeding could b e due to some other cause, however, that could (rarely) be more serious. If you have other symptoms like abdominal pain or dizziness, or if the problem lasts longer than a few days or gets worse, or if you're just worried, you should call your doctor.
Your next period should come about when you would have expected it, or within a week earlier or later. If it doesn't come by a week after you expected it, you might consider getting a pregnancy test.

Give it time, you'll know all about it when it does start to kick in, first sign is a queasy or sore stomach. Do remember though that if have had any dirrorhea (excuse spelling!) or vomiting since you've taken it there is a strong possibility that it has left your system without working.

wisdomfan belies your true character. You should be grown up enough to know that asking questions like this on such important issues is not wise. Call your pharmacist or doctor.
