Life is not a bed of roses - this is an accepted fact! We have our dreams in life which inspire us to struggle for success and prosperity; otherwise we shall remain stagnant like water in the pond. However, succeeding to make some of our dreams come true gives us some satisfaction but that's not the end because new responsibilities and priorities get added in the list till we live! Okay, I have achieved a few things in life, yet I feel there is much more to do amidst so many oddities to attain a reasonable level of satisfaction. Many people might say that accumulation of wealth is not the measure of success but money does play an important role in making our dreams come true and be useful to other people in need. If, however, we want to be happy within ourselves, we can pass our life like a hermit in meditation with minimum needs! But then, why have we been born as humans?

Yes and no. On the one hand I now have a loving family with two wonderfully smart and healthy children and an extremely amazing partner. I have a home, pets, work and therefore much better off than most. On the other, mental illness and repercussions from life experiences do some times make me question my faiths and beliefs and make me question my judgments. So I just take one day at a time and give thanks for when its been a good day, count my blessings. When its a bad day I resolve to make the next one a better day and still give thanks for lessons learned. As long I have a purpose to do some thing and I succeed, I am always happy with what I achieve. Peace and love.x

I'm happy enough with what I have achieved. I know that I could have achieved a lot more if I had put the effort in. Can't complain really but I still have a list of things that I want to achieve and could have already achieved by this time... learning sign language, losing weight, being a better softball pitcher! Still plenty of time though!

With what I've achieved so far...yes! Its probably not much compared to some people's standards but for me its enough. I've grown, I've matured to a certain extent and I've learned a lot. Maybe I could be better off or maybe not. But regardless of that I'm happy with where I am in life at this moment. But I'm not done by a long shot.

Yes, so far I am blessed. There was a time in my life where I was in a very dark place, and to be frank; I wasn't sure I was going to get out. But, I've come a long way from those feelings. I live in a nice home that can provide a safe haven for my family. (1 husband,3 children,2 cats,1 dog, and fish). My children are really great!!! and provide me with alot of joy. I am pleasantly surprised that I've gotten this much out of a world I once thought was going to bring me nothing but hurt.

Yes. I do. When you set a goal or aim in your life you jump half of your achieve. When you start step for your goal you may entered the full happiness. After that reaching the place where you wanna end is easy will be continued with full of commitment ,
I really like to be financially free first as like every person in this world. But when i get started develop my knowledge i understood achievement is not only financially free there is lot of sources in this world and there are lot of choices in your life. A real effort able human can have lot of dreams and achievements in his life. When you read a good novel you wonder about the author wow how great is he? when you watch a good movie you admire the director.. Just like that i wonder when i read poems written by Barathiyaar and Vairamuthu. I felt i have to become an author or poet just like them. From that day i learn Literature and grammar of Tamil language. I start write poems and story from my age of eight. I need proof for my self that i am a good writer or poet. Not for others. only for my self. SO i went to lot of essay competitions , Short story contests . I won the prices nation wide for my essays , My first short story was won and published at my age of sixteen. That point I ac hived my goal. and I am happy with that. But i continue my writing and still i have commitment that i have to write lot and i do. At least one poem i write before i go to bed. Now my diaries are full of my poems.
Also one man can have more than one goal in his life. But the happiness will up to himself. If you have goal that you should kill one of your enemy I wonder will you be happy with your achievement if you finish killing that person?

I am a spiritual traveller.
So far the journey is wonderful and it urges me to go further for more and more experiences.
Every day there is a better world to live in and there is no reason for sorrows. Even when living among material problems, I don't think it is affecting me mentally. Material things are to be dealt with physically and I keep these two worlds different one from the other.
Am I happy? I don't know. You decide. As on today, I don't have any reason to be sad. I am neither rich nor poor. My needs are met with.
