Probably because we were told that samba originated from Brazil and like it or not ... Every year we see the Rio carnival on TV well dribs and drabs in the news so most of us tend to think that it is a huge thing for you!

I didn't know that people consider Brazil the country of Samba, if you hate is so much, consider this... MOST people are idiots who create stereotypes, often place a lable on things that don't require one. If it bothers you so much, simply ignore the stupidity, I wish I could tell you that it'll go away, unfortuanately it won't, but if you ignore it, it can't bother you.

I lived in New Orleans and hated Mardi Gras. It's madness in the streets. Many people in New Orleans would leave town on Mardi Gras. But outside people just get a stereotypical idea of a place and accept it. Because it takes energy to delve deeper and learn the true character of a place.

Media. Stereotypes. Ignorance.
I had a Japanese/Brazilian girlfriend who used to do Samba for me when she was naked. I love Samba for this reason.
She had very good chocha....or you say shishota?
