An old friend form Jr High/High School will be visiting in the next few weeks. We plan to get together, go play some pool, whatever. It will be me, him and another one of our friends ( my best girlfriend) who my fiancee doesn't get along with. I know if my fiancee goes he will probably get mad at me for not giving him my undived attention, but i will want to catch up with my old friends. I see him every day. Plus I don't know if my Girlfriend will come if he does. she will probably bring her boyfriend. If i don't ask him to go, he will get mad anyway.

WHAT TO DO?

Well, reverse the roles and see what you think. Your fiancee has a friend coming to town, obviously it will be a girl in this case, and he wants to go hang out with her, and one of his buddies, who may or not bring his girlfriend. He doesn't invite you. Do you have a problem with that?

I would just tell your fiancee that he probably would be bored if he went because you'll be talking about things that happened years ago. Did your girlfriend's bf also go to school with you during those years? If not, your fiancee will be hurt since he would be invited and he didn't go to school with you at that time either. Perhaps you could do something earlier and include your financee and then in the evening you go and meet your old friend.

Sounds like you need to dump the fiancee. If he wants your undivided attention when out with friends, then he is too insecure to be getting married.

if you have those kind of problems in your relationship already they are just going to worse over time and marriage will make him more controlling then he appears now. from what you are saying he isn't a very mature person if i were you i would rethink getting married to him, especially if he is not going to accept any of your friends.

Get rid of him, if he's not mature enough to let you have your friends and your fun (As long as it's within acceptable bounds) then he's nowhere near mature enough to be married.
