i have no problem with it. if my daughter wants to date a black man, as long as he respects her, has a job, and treats her and my husband and i with dignity, go for it.
you just have to accept that some people are going to reject it. there isnt much you can or should do. if you voice your concerns too louldly, then you open yourself up for more ridicule and prejedous.
i can understand this. as a white person, i once lived in a foreign country where i was the minority and had to face the looks and racial discrimination. i think more white Americans should have an experience like this to give them an idea of what racism feels like.

I don't know what state you live in, but I haven't seen that happen for a while now. Are you sure it is not you feeling insecure about this? It could be. I have lived in Oregon, Washington, and Nevada and I haven't seen that reaction. There are many mixed couples in those states.
Maybe you shouldn't be concerned with what others think or feel. As long as you and your date are having a good time.
But, I am really sorry that you are feeling this way. I think it is sad that there are those that do judge. But like I said I haven't seen anything going on around here.
Good Luck and continue to enjoy what you enjoy doing.

Yes it is 2006 but some people are still stuck in the past. You just have to ignore ignorance.

they aint' looking @ u, they're looking @ her wondering why she choose u over them... we don't discriminate so we r always open to interacial dating but for those that don't look at u and wonder why u choose someone of another race...
as long as u don't act like ur new partner is better than all black women then i know i wouldn't have a problem w/it...
good luck on ur relationship.. next time someone stares at u, say hello, or tell them to take a pic that it lasts longer

Some black people think that white people are the enemy and they have their reasons. But their reasons are not good enough to effect your life and choices. Just do you. All will receive what they're due.

my man is blk,,im white and when people stare or whatever which i have not came across that much we just stare back at them,,,like they have the issue. ignorance is on them. hold you head up high with the person you are with and be proud. who cares what others think? should you make you a better person to know that you are not the one with the issue,,its them.
