People claim that America "is to blame for the worlds problems" or "just as corrupt as the rest of the world" and a variety of other adolescent accusations.

How has this propoganda so successfully permeated our culture?

I observe this as another form of "self righteousness".

I actually abserve that people feel a sense of fairness and neutrality from saying these things because our new society of "tolerance" has people calling good evil and evil good (all in the name of "tolerance").

People that actually have a position on something are deemed to be "intolerant" and therefore narrow and stupid.

This is a very easy position to subscribe to because it relieves one from having to take a position (which in turn would require attention) and is therefore the "easy way out" for the ignorant and lazy.

If I am correct, we must recognize and correct this weakness in order to preserve our culture and bring freedom and peace to those less fortunate than we.

What say you?

As a British person I am quite puzzled as to why the Americans do not hold more pride in their position in the world; but, instead, seem to be incredibly apologetic about being so powerful.

I would far rather have an American superpower with a culture analogous to my own bestriding the world stage, than that of a country, which holds values that are entirely incompatible with my own.

ny is basic as "new york" because of the fact earlier a fave human beings hero (Johnny Appleseed) planted a single seed interior the middle of the city. Then, in an peculiar warp in area-time, a boy named Jack planted a seed he believed to be magical interior the comparable spot. In what remains seen a marveling organic and organic progression, the two seeds fused at the same time on a molecular point. After a magnificent rain, the seed hybrid grew into an apple 300ft tall and approximatively 330ft extensive. The strangest ingredient being the absence of a tree. it form of feels the apple develop into thoroughly time-honored, different than it grew on the instant from the floor with its very own roots like a beanstalk of a few form. for some destiny years, human beings could bypass to the city and look up on the impossible fruit and picture "it relatively is a substantial apple". After a whilst human beings began pertaining to the city itself as "new york". yet then, 1943 Oct 11th, some thing unusual occurred. because of the fact the city laid to take a seat down back, the evening as quickly as returned upon them, there develop right into a mind-blowing flash of purple easy. The flash lasted for almost 4-5 seconds. no one is for particular what led to the flash, yet as quickly because it develop into over the apple had merely disappeared. no longer purely had it vanished, the floor it had grown from had closed as though it weren't in any respect there. some say the apple had grown so super it created some form of fruity supernova and collapsed in on itself in a black hollow. some say the aliens answerable for the dying of the dinosaurs got here decrease back and destroyed the apple besides. We won't in any respect understand precisely what occurred that evening, yet one ingredient is for particular. That develop right into a brilliant-*** apple.

I would say this is another form of "idiocy". How many countries have military bases scattered across the globe to "protect their interests". How would you feel if Japan started building a massive army base in Idaho to protect Japanese interests? Think about that. If it's just trade you're protecting, then why do you need an army to do it? Because it's corporatism.

What's self-righteous about calling a spade a spade? How many countries right now have armies occupying a resource-rich sovreign nation? That my friend is the very antithesis of freedom, as is guantanamo, wiretapping your citizens, freedom of speech zones, monitoring libraries, and the global war on terror.

You are losing what are the cornerstones of your liberty, and you applaude your government for doing it.

I pity you.

"Fascism should more rightly be called corporatism, because it is the merging of corporations and government"

I say that the weak of mind and resolve are easily swayed by propaganda. To accept out of hand the beliefs of others is far easier than working hard to come to a conclusion that developed from your own research. Why think when someone has done it for you? That is the true sadness of US education. We don't teach children how to think, we teach them "facts" to regurgitate on demand. Take this non partisan view and make it as political as you choose to support any "side" you want. Truth does not know a political party.

Well, I have to say to you that people claim America as fascists "openly "since Bush is the president of USA. He has something in his charisma and in his face that people in whole world dislike. It doesn't matter he is stupid, a bad public speaker or a layer, his whole appearance and attitude toward foreign politic is wrong.
I don't know, I must say that I loved Bill Clinton and I know that people really admired USA and American culture. But than USA attacked Iraq and demonstration through all world opened our eyes. It was strange realization that USA is manipulating, dangerous country which should be sooner or later stopped.

I believe it started with the spoiled, worthless hippy generation. Half of them won't admit that during their most vocal periods of life they were just know nothing kids. Instead, they try to recapture their past glories of protests, love ins, and general fullofshitness by blaming America first as if every other country is free of greed, corruption, racists, and poverty. How naive and idiotic they are.

I, personally, am tired of having our country blamed for all of the world's problems. We are not facist in any way, we are only trying to help and do what's best for others. If we left everyone else in the world alone (like our critics demand we do), it wouldn't be long before everyone was bitching about how little we do to help. You can't make everyone happy.

Totally agree.

Europeans agree the US gives out more aid than another country, but they feel that since we are so "rich" that is just our "obligation".

What is their obligation??? NONE because they are so poor...oh wait they are better off then Americans...which one is it today??????
