I don't know of any schools that MAKE their athletes take dance...I don't see how they could do that.
Dance is a way to gain agility, but I prefer the sport of wrestling better. A LOT of football players are former wrestlers in high school or college. It is MUCH better for gaining skill AND strength then dance is.

Yeah i comprehend you. i have been dancing in view that i changed into 2 instantly by and now im 16. I at present dance 5-6 days a week 3 hours an afternoon. yet 4 days a week for an hour out of that aspect im choreographing for a intense college dance crew. yet i imagine being a real dancer is in basic terms loving what you do. And one staggering move ought to get so a lot more beneficial appreciate than a crappy dance. you want to entice close my motto? A dancer mask her skill with elegance yet undeniably that's nonetheless there. because it defiantly does take quite some muscle and braveness to be a dancer and that is the ideal difficulty about it, even as human beings lower than estimate us. So do not tell them, in basic terms watch for them to attempt it theirselves. you receives the most suitable chortle.

It helps people make fun of the athletes so the nerds don't feel like such outcasts.
Actually, I imagine it would help a great deal with footwork and foot speed. Probably endurance, and overall core strength.
Still a little unusual though; haven't heard of that.

Ballet helps with strength, flexability. This in turn can help many athletes in other sports, but I'm sure there are alot of football players who dont agree, hopefully though they dont have to wear tights/tu-tu's.

Ballet helps with balance so that when players juke/spin/hurdle other players, they can keep their balance and not fall. It also helps with agility.
I dont think schools can MAKE u take any certain class, but i think most schools recommend it for athletes.

It will help with rhythm as well as strength. When I did Athletics we were told to do various of other related items including modern dancing. It also helps with composure. Making you aware of other things and not just your sport specific.

It has to do with balance, coordination and focus. By taking dance athletes can learn where there center of gravity and how they can lower it. Because the lower your center of gravity is the more stable and balanced you are.
