That is bile. It means you don't have anything in your stomach, not even water.
Bile is stomach acid. It will decay your teeth and lead to esophageal erosions if you throw it up too often. You need to make sure you always have something in your stomach like crackers, water, sprite, etc. It is not good (but occasionally can be normal) to throw up bile. If you are doing it every time you could be dehydrated. Try seeing if you can hold something down and make sure you eat a couple of crackers and drink a glass of water a few minutes before you try getting out of bed. If you are throwing up more than a couple times a day you should call your doctor. You could have hyperemesis and need IV treatment.
Here is a clipping from the link below on when to go to the doctor:
Abdominal pain, bleeding, or cramping
Difficulty thinking or focusing
Difficulty walking or talking
Extreme fatigue and very low energy
Little if any food or fluids stay down for over 24 hours
Little saliva and a dry mouth
Moderate or severe headache and/or fever
Muscular weakness or severe cramping
Repeated vomiting or retching daily
Severe nausea that keeps you from eating/drinking
Shortness of breath or dizziness
Urination is infrequent (over 8 hours) and minimal amount
Urine is dark yellow and concentrated
Visual disturbances, or fainting
***Vomit is red with blood or YELLOW WITH BILE****
Weight loss of 2 pounds (0.9 kg) or more in a week
Good luck

its normal to throw up yellow acidy stuff anytime your stomach is empty, especially first thing in the morning, or when you're already hungry.
Its bile, and its perfectly normal. You need to eat to avoid throwing up when you're pregnant.
Take a b6 vitamin, 25ml three times a day.

It's stomach bile/acid. It's when there is nothing in your stomach to throw up. You should try and drink alot of fluids so that you can throw up the fluids rather than the bile. Throwing up bile is really bad for your teeth, tastes nasty and isn't too good on your stomach lining. It's normal, i don't think the loosing 8lbs in a week is. Your doc can give you something for the nausea if it's causing you to loose excessive weight.

That is stomach acid because you are getting sick on an empty stomach. Keep a box of saltine crackers next to your bed and eat 3-4 of them about 15 minutes before getting up in the morning. A lot of doctors believe that most morning sickness stems from women getting up and moving around on an empty stomach.

Do you suffer with morning sickness and throw up a lot (even on an empty stomach)? If so, this sounds like bile. When you haven't eaten recently and have no food in your stomach, you can vomit bile. It's made in the liver and stored in the gall bladder, and it's bitter.

I did when I woke up in the mornings with an empty stomach.
The Dr told me to put crackers by the bed and eat them before I got up. It didn't work usually as soon as I rolled over I was sick no time to eat a cracker. But it was a good suggestion if you can. Throwing up the stomach acid was painful and it burned my throat.

Most pregnant women usually have this annoying little problem the first 2-3 months of pregnancy. It is I think something to do with stomach acids, try eating some crackers before you get out of bed, it always seem to work for me...

yes if you haven't had anything to eat. I know i have been there and done that with everyone of my babies. we have 3 girls and 1 boy and i was sick with everyone but mostly with my second daughter and with our son. Good Luck and try eating little meals of crackers and cheese, toast, toasted bagel(with or without cream cheese),plain pasta(like macaroni noodles or spaghetti noodles) just little things so that if you do get sick then at least you have something to throw up

Yeah, unfortunately it is normal if your stomach is empty. I remember that. Sorry! Try munching on dry toast or crackers- even if they don't stay down long it's better than that nasty yellow stuff.
Congratulations on your pregnancy, and remember, "This, too, shall pass." :)
