Someone in my company got fired for asking a guy if he was the organ grinder or the monkey.
The thing is, the guy he was asking was black, so he made out it was a racial thing and he was being called a monkey because he is black, which was complete bull.
Racial harrasment obsession gone mad. What is the world coming to?

There was this guy who got fired for stealing 3 bacon strips from the cafeteria. Then there was the husband and wife who raped the cafeteria for about 40 grand by charging the customers extra and stealing from the registers. Then there was the Infrastructure VP who got fired for buying faulty equipment and got the company more than 300,000 dollars an hour for 3 days because the whole system went down! Gotta love insurance companies.
Ohh yeah, this one takes the cake.
We have an atomic bomb button that will shut the whole companies network and no work can be down. Well, a security worker pushed the button thinking it was the exit button out of the data center and it takes 24 hours for the system to be restored.
Millions of dollars were lost after that.

I work at a hospital. There was a unit secretary who got caught sleeping on the night shift. She was supposed to be watching monitors at the front desk. Instead she was caught by the night supervisor curled up in a blanket in a chair sleeping.
Recently another employee got fired for looking at porn on the internet on the job. Another nurse got fired because she marked down that she had been giving the medications but never actually gave them. Oh, and we also had a nurse fired because she was injecting the IV demerol into her own veins in the bathroom instead of giving it to the patients. She got caught because she took so much she couldn't stay awake and syringes were found in the bathroom she had come out of.
If you only knew what really goes on in a hospital...

I worked for a company in which the Chairman of the Board was a very dictatorial person. He was on vacation one time and called back to his office. His regular secretary was on break so there was a young replacement secretary answering the phone. At the end of the call she said "Bye bye." He called back later when his secretary returned and told her to fire the other secretary. His reason was that she did not finish the phone call with a professional phrase like "Goodbye sir."

I had a co-worker fired for striking the boss. All he did was pat the manager on the back and the manager claimed it was too aggressive and dismissed him...lol

when i was just starting out i worked in fast food we had this female boss that had slept with just about every guy thier one of the guys decided since he didn`t get any from her he was going to get her he filled her locker with tuna and a note he was gone befor we could stop laughing
