How did You learn to drive a car, and what kind of car was it?

I learned from a fork lift, took a while to get used to the wheels on a vehicle turning from the front.

I learned on my (hated) stepfather's Cadillac Eldorado. When he said, "Pull over, here," I made sure there was a big metal post right in the way. Then I pulled over at 30 mph.
