Buddha is no different than any other God of another religion. Of course the christian right will tell you that you are a sinner and are destined for hell for believing in Buddha, but thats another story. I like Buddha. I respect the fact that a religion different than the one I was raised wtih can exist in this world, and I know several Buddhist who are very grounded spiritually.

Buddha was one of Lord Vishnu Avatars who teach the world peace and harmony. We certainly need him again now.
