if you have an avatar did you try to get it to look as much like you as possible, or did you just choose a character you liked?
i tryed to get my avatar as close to me as possible, but avatars are always better looking.

I was aiming for one that looked like me. But I couldn't find one so I gave up and am still without one.
When I look at an Avatar I think of looking at that cartoon character as looking at the person, so I hope most people are aiming for a good likeness. (Having the avatar a little more slim than real life is probably to be expected though.)

Well, I do wear glasses, and I do have long, red, curly hair, but my face is thinner, and I weigh a little bit more than my avatar looks. I think most people try to get it as close as possible, but there's only so much you can do with the options that they give you. Plus, from what I've seen, the guys don't have quite as many options as the girls do.
I think, too, that the avatars look awfully young. I'm 35, and look younger than my age, but the avatars look like teenagers.

I tried to make my Avatar look like me. I have shoulder length, straight blonde hair, I have blue eyes and a thin face.. that's about all you can do with your avatar.

My avatar is the munchkin that lives within me. I looked like that about 20 years ago. I still look a lot like it, just a little older.

My avatar is pretty right on, except I have more body in my hair in real life--it's not as flat as my avatar's hair is. :) It's the only one with short hair though, if I remember correctly. The glasses, eyes and skintone are almost identical to mine.

I've seen a few people who look exactly like their avatar. (I've looked at their 360 pages). It doesn't seem to happen often though.
I made my avatar to look like me as much as possible. But, of course, it still doesn't look quite like me. Oh well.

my avatar is as close as I can get for a girl. I have a mohawk, but they haven't really gotten any good punk hairstyles for avatars yet. so I wear a hat. And they really oughta let you pick your chest size as well. ha! I'm no "B" cup.
