as a middlesbrough supporter for 50 0dd yrs , i think that boro will go down for sure this season .[and that saddens me a lot ]. they dont seem to be able to play AS A TEAM ........im hoping gareth s. can pull it off . but i wont hold my breath .

As a Pompey fan I was delighted with the way 'Boro played
Not sure how much difference Woodgate may make but Southgate needs to do something
The Yak is so hit and miss, if his head goes down he is not even worth being on the pitch but when he plays well he is almost unstoppable
Viduka is an enigma, once again on his day he his capable of magic but when just the slightest bit off form you may as well not bother playing him
'Boro DO have some good players but Southgate needs to learn how to get the best out of them, if he does then you will get many more results like the one against Chelsea

Pompey did an incredible job of making Boro pay for every defensive mistake. Of course, we are talking about Middlesbrough, the same squad that managed to beat Man Utd and lose to Sunderland last year.

I think your players celebration of Chelsea victory have been lasted 3 days in the pubs. If not, Portsmouth would be the champion.

I really want Pompey to do well this season. After his Harry Houdini act last season it would be good to see Pompey clear of the relegation zone, and I think they'll do it.
