Compliments! Especially through third parties that know both of you. Also, pay attention to him or her. Really listen while he/she is talking; ask relevant questions; make relevant remarks. If the office goes out as a group, pay more attention to the object of your admiration than anyone else. These are subtle ways. If you want something more flashy, send flowers with a message from YOU, not from "A secret admirer". Either work or home; whichever you think would work better.
