Do you wash your hands after going to the bathroom?

For the people that do, does it make you sick knowing that some don't? And for the people that don't... why not?

For me I always wash.

yes i do wash my hands after i go to the bathroom it does make me sick to know that some people are gross enough to not wash their hands. i don't touch the door handle when i leave the restroom either, i use a paper towel. it just gags me to think that some people have left their poo particles on the surfaces i have to touch

Always! I don't really care what other people do as long as they don't touch any food that I am going to consume! This is why eating in restaurants etc. is perilous. Subconsciously, I must make a mental note of who, of the people I know, washes their hands. This will determine whether I ever accept an invitation to eat at their house or not! If this is the case, dining out is an option, although more expensive, but then you are subject to the possibility that the people who handle your food may not have washed. Kind of a catch-22! The best solution is to wash your hands and only trust in that as you are never sure about anybody else! And do a lot of your own cooking and entertaining at home.

I wash each and every time. Yea the people that don't are gross especially guys after all they man handle that thing when they pee. I have a phobia of touching public door handles I will always let someone go before me so I don't have to touch the door and if no one is around I will pull my hand in my shirt and open or I'll lean my shoulder against the door and open it. I do it for the simple reason that I know people are sick and don't wash their hands not only just coming out of the bathroom, they pick their noses, sneeze on their hands whatever it's all gross to me I hate germs. Sneeze around me and watch me flip out and run knowing that a sneeze spreads 12' in every direction and many don't cover when they sneeze gross. You know what's even sicker is people that keep their toothbrushes near a toilet ILLL!! I'm so weird about it I actually carry my own sanitizer wipes in my purse. We go out to eat and I will disinfect the entire booth and table before I will sit down. I usually get a nasty stare from the people in the restaurant and the people that work there but I don't care, germs are gross and I won't have any part of it if I can avoid it. Okay I can go on forever about this stuff; I obviously have a sickness of some sort, lol!

i always wash after i use the bathroom. sometimes i wash before i go to the bathroom too....lol. it makes me sick when people do not wash their hands, especially in public restrooms. That means i have to touch the door knob to the bathroom after them and it grosses me out thinking these people might handle my food at their jobs. I try not to think about it...lol.

I always wash, especially in public. And coming from home when I go out to eat, I always use the ladies room before being served anything to wash up. After washing my hands, I don't touch anything. I take a paper towel or toilet tissue if they don't have toilet paper and cover the knob leading out of the restroom. They say that there are tons of germs on the sink and on the knob leading out of the restroom so even if you wash your hands you could get them dirtied up again on your way out.

Every time I go - no exceptions. I've taught my daughters to always wash, too. It does make me wonder why everyone doesn't wash their hands after going to the bathroom.

Always wash, and I tell the manager about the employees that do not wash after using the restroom. There is really NO excuse for not washing your hands it protects you and me.

i always wash i have two small kids so its a big thing to me and i make them wash too and yes it bothers me when people dont i mean you can never tell if they have touched something you have or people who work in the fast food places yuck i'm getting sick thinking about it PEOPLE WASH YOUR HANDS

I always wash. There's a couple people here at work who don't wash, and I refuse to touch anything that they have touched, blatantly to their faces. I think that's disgusting. I've asked the question and one has said "because I don't have time."
