why won't my IM voice work fore more then 7 sec.?

I call frinds com. but voice won't work for more then 7 sec. no mater whoe calls whoe? why/

this could be the connection setting you have it set at if mesenger is set to connect on the second setting(thier are 3 setting) it will do that use the last setting or the first
