Boiling works for me, but if you buy the travel packs, they come with a lens case.

I buy a new case, but I have also done the boiling method. Boil in regular water for at least 10 minutes. It will kill anything thatmight be living on your case.

Yes you can sanitize your case by using boiling water, drop it in for about two minutes, it does not take long. I wear contacts, and I usually just scrub it clean with dish detergent, rinse really well and allow it to air dry. I was always told to let the case air dry. When you start drying it with a cloth, it could leave behind lint, fuzzies, or germs.

I wouldn't buy a new case due to you would just have to throw that one away too.There is a better solution and many. Cotton ball and alcohol,boiling water, the anti bacteria dish soap and water,and the best one I believe is the dishwasher. Good luck
