If you mean yahoo answers then I would say sure. There are questions in young peoples brains that need answered. Some of those questions they don't want to ask a parent so they should at least be able to get mostly good information at YA. But as with any online site you may want to sit with them as they set up their ID so you can see what kind of questions their asking. Or set up your own yahoo account and you can view their questions as long as you know their YA name. That way they would never know you were looking at their questions, yet you will be able to monitor their answers and questions so you will know if something is wrong in your child's life. I have seen questions asked from obviously young people about pregnancy, drugs, inappropriate touching or sexual abuse on YA. So don't be too shocked about what you may see on YA but for the most part the community give excellent answers to the person asking the question.

Is what a good choice? Your question asks for input without giving any information.
