This is needed for faded copies that we need for court so we can't just write over what we can barely make out.

Scan them into Adobe Photoshop using a good-quality flatbed scanner at 300 dpi. Then play with the "brightness/contrast" adjustment until it looks OK. Save it. Print it out. Scan again and repeat, if needed. Do not in any way alter the original-of course.

If the paper is yellowed you might be able to make things better by going to Image>adjust>channel mixer. Check the "monochrome" output box and play with the sliders till you see what you want.

Digitally enhance. Keep the faded one as that is the actual proof.

Make photocopies using different intensities. Many details will start to show up.

try by scanning the document,,,,, but use good quality of scanner and scan with high DPI,,,,,, and use photoshop to darken the copy
