Does this Astro have transmission problems?

I have an AWD Chevy Astro and it has been acting funny lately. Sometimes when accelerating from a stop it seems to be "pulsing". I'm not sure if this is transmission slip or something with the AWD. I've never had an AWD before so I'm not sure if I should feel anything like this from the AWD. Any experiences with this?

check your tire sizes they all need to be the same
even 1 worn down tire and 3 good ones can do this
or if you just put on 2 new tires on the front or rear
if you did that put 1 new tire on front and 1 on rear to even it out

these are famous for having front differential problems from different size tires
