no, light can't be seen. I can give you two strong evidences that would clear your doubt:
1) Light is a form of energy. Now can we see energy? NO, we can't. You can think of any example: sound energy ( u never actually see the sound waves), electrical energy ( you can't 'see' the flow of electricity) and so on. Thus, light too being a form of energy, is invisible.
2) You must have seen that universe is dark when seen from space. Now, you can't say that there isn't enough light ( there are stars everywhere). The reason for this is that there simply isn't any object in vaccum to reflect the light.
The light we actually 'see' is the reflection coming from the particles or objects. You observe that the sky is bright because of the fine dust particles present in the atmosphere.
Remember... THE HIGHER YOU GO, THE DARKER THE SKY BECOMES. Because light is invisible

When we see an object in 'light', we are actually seeing the light reflected from or scattered by the surface of the object. In pitch darkness there is no light to reflect or scatter. Hence we do not see any thing.
Light is a part of the electro-magnetic radiation which is visible to human eye if within certain range called the visible range. We do not 'see' the x-rays or the infra-red rays which also are part of the spectrum of the electro-magneti radiation.

Light is invisible so u cannot see it but it makes objects visible when it strikes it.If u argue out that u can see the path of light entering ur room when u dust ur bed,that's wrong dude.U r just seeing the dust particles however they definitely show u the path with which light enters ur room but not light itself.If u say about the electric bulb it's the filament of the bulb that glows.U cannot see light.Infra red radiation for example: people r afraid of it.Infra-red radiations r not hot but they definitely make objects hotter when they strike them even melt objects sometimes.If these doesn't explain u then answer these simple questions to urself....
1)if u can see light then what is it's colour?
2)If u can see light then y does space appears dark in spite of the presence of thousands of stars?

we see enlightened objects (not exactly light, if it was so you'd have seen the air multicoloured too)
you can sort this out easily, turn on a torch in a dark room and hold this towards the wall, you will see the light only in two terminals of the light, not in the air between. but if the medium is something else, you can see light as a line, because u can there see the enlightened medium.

This is difficult to give a simple answer to. I would say technically we cannot see anything other than light.
It is only light stimulating the cells on our retina that creates the images in our brain that we perceive as "seeing something".
Therefore, it is not the objects that we see, it is actually light that has reflected off the objects and travelled to our eyes.
If light did not exist we would not be able to see anything at all.

No. We do not see the light. we see the objects. When you see the sunlight coming from window or light from torch (not aimed at you) you see the particles or objects which are illuminated by light. Suppose there was nothing even air or any other gas, you would not see anything. When you see the moon in night you do not see the light going from sun to moon. you see the moon and objects which are illuminated from light which is reflected by moon.

Not all the light we can see.
We can only see the light with medium frequentcy. The rest are the light we can't see, such as the high frequetcy ultra-violet ray, x-ray, and y-ray.
Apart from this, some low frequentcy light such as radio signal is also can't be seen by our naked eye.

Light is comprised of many rays which carry the visible "spectrum" that we see naturally. We know that light has aspects(like gamma and x-rays) that we cannot see without the aid of technology.
