I don't do it constantly. I'm not like most girls, I don't talk a lot. But when I do open my mouth which is once in a while, it's something really deep and you can tell I obviously sat there a while and thought about it. I feel like I should say it though, to find out what other people think about it.

Y should you stop thinking. Everyone thinks. I need more information on your extent. If you mean you are fickle minded then there is a cure.
Write this down in your diary. Make a date when you will go the mall and you will buy the very first thing that pleases you. You will not think of the consequences or anything. After that rate how you feel. Do you feel anxious and like you are going to die. Give a rating of 1 to 10.
If it is high like 10, do this.....rub your chest where your heart is and repeat to your self i choose not to think so much. I am much more than this and i completely accept myself. OR you could say, I am feeling really anxious now but I accept myself.
The idea is to break that chain of thought that you have. The nervous system is an amazing thing,.....once you are used to doing something in some way, you will find yourself repeating it. THis is because your nervous system, brain has registered that way of doing things and it is automatic.
The rubbing of your heart and repeating the sentence above will help break that chain. But remember please that this is not a one day or 2 thing. It takes time but you will surely find it working soon enuff. Patience is the word.

There is thinking, and then there is contemplation... and a subtle difference between them. Thinking is looking around within your bedroom for something in the garage. The exercise is habit, and produces very little other than helping one avoid being dragged into the unknown within oneself.
Contemplation, on the other hand often involves the use of intuition, or allowing ones Attn Aspect of Apapsyche [the Operational Energy of ones Soul] to drift into ones Apapsyche where bits of Knowledge can be accessed... these bits are then fleshed out by applying words stored within ones brain to them.
May I suggest that you begin keeping a notebook with you and whenever you feel like it, write down what is going on within your "thinking". This will help you clarify your thoughts regarding new concepts or ideas, and when you finally present these to others, they will not be subjected to an incomplete collection of seemingly unrelated bits of knowledge. But do, definitely keep "thinking". Peace.

I say hell yeah go for it. If you feel you want or need to express yourself, do it!! You never know who may be thinking the same thing and want to also talk about it...or maybe even give someone else insight. You say you aren't like most girls who blab and blab...I don't want to be to judgmental and make assumptions that most girls are like that...but there are many and why is it okay for them to come o ut with complete nonsense just to "make conversation" as opposed to really thinking about something and having a meaningful conversation. I think maybe you should find friends who are more openminded!! I'm sure you have a lot of things on your mind that need to be shared with others. Don't think of it as a bad thing, it's wonderful that you actually use your mind :-)

It's just who you are. Everyone is different. Unless it is bothering you then why worry. It is a good thing, you are probably more creative than most people . I used to be like you accept it got to be too much negative thinking and constant anxiety and worry. I got treatment for it and now I don't think about anything! It sucks because i lost most of my creativity. Sometimes I wish I could thing think more often. Maybe you should write. Make a journal, that really worked for me. I also write poetry and have painted before. It allows you to release your feelings.

Anyone who refers to their own perceptions as "deeper than other people" is either pretentious or naive. I assume you are the latter.
My guess is you are annoying people because you approach expressing your thoughts as if no one else could possibly have imagined these things, and you are so far above others in your perceptions and understanding of the world. Or perhaps what you think is "deep" is just silly to other people.

Well I would agree with alot of the people here, be conscious of what your saying - don't just spout every thought that comes into your head. Also, learn to relax yourself, and focus on what is really important to you. Additionally maybe you need more activities in your life, I get the feeling that maybe you're bored or anxious.

I have this problem too, and when I talk it either scares people or the don't understand anything I'm saying. There are lots of people like us. You're a thinker. You have creative thought patterns. You are unique. Use your brain power

People fear those who think for themselves, especially those who question. Most people are taught NOT to think, just do as they are told. Be proud that you do think a lot, it shows that you are a special type of person. There is no such thing as thinking too much, only thinking too little.

Thinking to much is not the problem but maybe your friends are trying to relax with you in a bar or gym or wherever you are and you need to respect it.
YOU know the look when you have gone to far with your thoughts so switch it off!!

Focus on the big-picture instead of the details. I think it sounds more like you express too much on the little things. See if this works. It might make you more comfortable with your thoughts as well.
