i found a mod website and i dont know wether its for the ps2 or pc version

Well if you downloaded the mod or saw it on the net it will be for the pc. For what I know you can not have mods on the ps2 version. Unless you have a cheat disk.

You can only get mods for the PC version (according to www.IGN.com). Ive heard that if you have a modded X-BOX with an extra hard drive you could download the mod to the X-BoX version but Ive never heard of a modded PS2.

Nope, the PS2 has nowhere to store such a thing. If you really want mods get the PC version.

well actually i was browsing mod sites for san andreas and their was a fair few mods for ps2s their.But you need to install a mod chip in to the consol to put them on i think. more information is on this site http://www.gta-sanandreas.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47771

Im not sure, yet i think of you may desire to have the laptop version to do this. I even have san andreas, too and that i had to choose how those human beings on youtube have been given those evo's and audi's on thier video games
