Dear Diary,
Today, we had a family reunion. Our grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins were all there. We gathered in a fairly large restaurant, but size would not equal quality! The food was awful. The employees did not make the situation any better either. This said restaurant had the worst waiters and waitresses. To top things off, they smoked! The day did not start off well at all. Throughout the reunion, I had the luck to spill milk on my pants and the restaurant was out of napkins for me to clean myself up with. While the adults conversed and the children played, I just sat there with my pants stained. I felt invisible. I had enough! I decided to call my best friend, Alicia. I complained about my entertained cousins and those dismal adults. She told me that I was too negative and to look on the bright side. We talked for a while and I finally asked her if she could pick me up. While I waited for my ride, I couldn’t help become aggravated with the whole situation. I soon got over it. We go to Alex Rider's house. Alex is the cutest guy I’ve ever known. I love to go to his house. He has always been very dear to me – ever since the third grade that is. We all talked a lot and decide to go to the movies. We had so much fun together. Neither distance nor time can affect our friendship.
