I honestly feel that the "whole" race issue, is just another tactic the devil has placed in this world to "divide and conquer."
The time people take to focus hate and waste energy on others in hate, is the time they take away from doing something positive in their own life. And that's sad.
As it was written in the bible at one time we all spoke ONE language, and were ONE race of people until God scattered descandants and people.
Its sad that we as "humans" can not appreciate the beauty and diverisity that each race of ppl has to offer, instead, we like to stick our noses up, and shun other races and cultures that we do not understand.
Its going to be one funny day, when we all meet our maker, and discover some shocking truths.
I often ask people, do they feel God is a comedian, and created certain folks for other amusement. If so, I don't hear many laughing.

I wish that you can talk to some of the older generations(that are still here)and they can share some of their experiences with you. Now those brothers and sisters have seen, heard, and been through some stuff BECAUSE of their race. Unfortunately, race still plays a major part of society. Let's just call a spade a spade, dear. It would be nice if we could all get along, but there are some folks who don't like blacks, whites, jews, gays, lesbians, and so on. I could play the race card, but I don't. In fact, I get it more..I'm black, female, and gay. But if society wants to knock me down, then baby girl, I get right back up and keep on stepping as far as my Nurse Mates can take me. As long as society from all sides play the race card, it will be a never ending cycle. But you know better than that, so keep on pushin'!

No I do not think we will ever get over the race card. Being a living thing, we see differences first before we acknowledge likeness. So when a gorilla see another gorilla it immediately notices its not from the same fold by smell. For human the first thing we notice is by skin colour and our expectations are altered, when skin colour is the same or accepted, we then notice tonnation to distinguish ourselves and set prejudices. So a white man sees another and the tone is different, he/she set thier expectation levels. Same as blacks or Asians.
In everything differences are noticed first and since it race that is the first and easiest measure, its most used. Others qualities have to be proven.

if race plays a big part in your everyday life it may be because you let it, however, getting ahead has nothing to do with color. Sure, there is racism and it will try to block the path of anyone regardless of color. Overall it's what you're willing to do to get ahead, work two jobs, whatever. Society will continue to discriminate on some kind of basis on every level of life. If you have two jobs your third job is to overcome the idiots and be able to see past them to the greater picture...you and your family.

I doesn't in my life. I believe what ever you concentrate on increases. So if your always thinking about race then that's all your ever going to see. Try to concentrate on other things in life and not what someone thinks about the color of your skin. Because in the end we are all only human.

I think we have been and will continue to get over "the race card." When is the only question.

No, because somehow blacks manage to have the race card up their sleeve everyday. You can bet if anything goes wrong in their life, and a white person is in within 20 feet...whoop..RACE CARD!

The race issue has come from long ago. Like you, will we ever learn to live in harmony. Really learn to love one another.
Everybody bleed the same color.
Every body's heart stops beating the same way.
I don't think people are smart or Christian like to forgive and forget.

I hope so. I would like to get the same incentives to start a business as other races but I can't even say anything about it or be labeled a racist.
