All babys act on their own time... they have no clue they have a schedule to follow...lol
if you do want to encourage her a little bit thouhg, she may actually enjoy it... when your on the floor playing with her... just gently help her roll over and eventually she may catch on that it's ok.. or even fun....
my daughter rolled maybe once or twice before she started crawling and walking and my sister completely skipped the crawling stage she went right from rolling to walking...
But just appreciate every stage she goes through, cuz it will only happen once.. so don't rush it!

dont worry i have a 1 year old who still cant crawl he was about 6 to 7 months before he learned how to roll over completly, Dr. say hes fine hes just lazy. He'll move when hes good and ready. my son is more active on his back as well he'd rather do that cause thats what hes best at. My 6 year old was walking by 9 months, it all depends when there ready to go!!!

Don't expect miracles from these little beings! My 5 month old isn't even sitting yet. She hates being on her tummy and she doesn't roll over yet either. She is a very strong baby and has been since the day she was born but you must remember that when they are ready to do something they will do it!! Every baby is different.

As long as her other milestones are in place, you likely have nothing to worry about. Some babies just have peculiar ways of doing things, and may miss particular stages altogether.
My son, who is now 18, never did learn how to sit up the same way other babies his age did. He always tried to sit straight up, as if doing a super sit-up. Most babies roll into it.
He did everything else on time, or early, and has a very high IQ, is very creative, and graduated high school with a 3.97 GPA---the point being, that even though a baby might seem to be lagging behind in one area, all will be fine.

It looks like the answers so far say "don't worry and it will be fine". However, this is not always the best answer. Sometimes kids and their parents need help in making sure that every child has the opportunity to develop to the best of their potential. This is where Early Intervention can be most helpful. Physical Therapists work with newborns through geriatric populations. If you are concerned, have your child evaluated by a Pediatric Physical Therapist. My kids both needed Physical Therapy during infancy and with their help have each turned out fine.

Do not worry every child is different. There is really no set time for a baby to do anything, mine did not crawl till his seventh month. Give her time she will come along to it. you can also play with her in a way that will motivate her to roll over.

this might properly be a common timeframe for some scooting to take place. commonly youngsters would be waiting to start sitting between 4-6 months and could attempt to military-guy crawl almost immediately thereafter. the subsequent step is they are going to artwork themselves into an all-fours place and start to rock to and fro. some youngsters will certainly even pass crawling and go directly to cruising upright. My first born certainly skipped the scooting section and basically rolled everywhere he had to flow. confirm you have issues babyproofed, because of the fact as quickly as they start growing to be to be cellular you are able to under no circumstances tell what they are going to attempt to get into.

My son was 6 months old when he started to roll over. And 9 months when he started to crawl. Don't worry about timelines as long as when you go to your babies doctor's visits and they say she is fine then there is nothing to worry about.

With the fear of SIDS many parents arent putting thier children on thier stomachs quite enough. I suggest leaving her on her stomach for extended periods of time. This will allow her to build strenght in her neck and back making it possible to roll over and eventually crawl. Let her sleep on her tummy for naps as well I promise you she will be okay.

My 4yo never rolled over, but she crawled and walked right on schedule. Some babies just don't care to ever roll!
