Yes my husband calls me sweetheart,honey,baby,sweetness.We have very good communication.I never have to worry about him not showing me attention ,we show each other attention and appreciate each other every day.

Some people, guy or girl, love to be called the sweet little nicknames by their partner. I don't think it should really matter either way as long as you know the love is there. My husband never calls me by my name, he only calls me Shug, and around my town, so many people have heard him call me that until it has become my name in the street, so it isn't as special when he does it now, but I don't mind. I know he loves me with or without the cute names.

My wife calls me "babe", and while her intentions are good... I crawl into a corner when she does that in public.
I think it's because of the relationship that we have built up to now that has steered us away from using those, what I would call, "puppy love" notations.
She knows of my dislike when she does do that, but we do share discussions about it. We prefer using first names when calling out to each other. Our tone and manners alone show the love and affection!

My husband do call me dearest, darling, love...each day, as for communication most of the time our topics are on kids....

We both call 'darling' everytime, but sometimes she calls me only my name that i can understand she is angry to me.

i don't suffer if sahe don't but i like when she does, i feel loved all the time and and yes we do talk about it, i wish you the same
