Hi, can somebody recommend me a good moving company to use in my move from Portugal to Galwya, Ireland. What I'm looking is cheep and reliable service since I do not have much to take with me - probably a half container or so. I would also be happy to learn about options on sending my mail or so... It doesn't matter how long it takes, it can be more than 2-3 weeks.

Just to add some details:
I've been offered a job there for 3 years, so would stay there all that time. My belongings are not that much and certainly I do not wish to take any furniture, so probably about 30 boxes or so to move.

well, i don't know your motivation for moving to galway or how long you want to stay, but i can tell you that most places you'd usually rent as an ex-pat over here are furnished, so you wouldn't have to take much stuff with you. if you decide to anyway, you might want to try one of these sites where you can put your wish up for auction and service providers then underbid each other. unfortunately, i'm not familiar with portuguese service sites, but one or two good searches should find you one.

Cronin movers out of Dublin do a good job.
Any freighter (UPS etc) can get it done for you.
However I think you will find that it is easier to just get new stuff there.
