Who needs words, you could try the universal way - a box of chocs, a dozen red roses, and a great big sparkling diamond ring - I'm not a greedy person the ring alone would do for me - but the chocs would be a bonus, bugger the flowers ;- )

In French 'I love you' is je t'aime but if you're going to say something like 'I love sports/shoes/chocolate' etc. it is j'adore
