I need a solution for chair on wood and tile floors.

Cut x's into cheap tennis balls and place the tennis balls on the bottom of the chairs. Kids can move the chairs with no markings.

You can buy felt circles that have an adhesive backing that you apply to the foot of the chairs to keep them from scuffing the floors. These felt circles can be found at any hardware store and Walmart and Target.

My old school teacher used tennis balls on the ends of the legs of the chair. Make a x on the ball and slide them on. It's a cheap old school way. Good luck

Try gluing little carpet squares to prevent chairs from marking up wood or tile floors. Use high quality glue.

in my son's school they cut holes in tennis balls &
then place the tennis balls on the legs of the chairs OR
you can go to any hardware store & buy little sticky
cloth that's cut into circles , you take the wax paper
off the sticky part & apply them to the bottom of the chairs
legs Hope this helps

Buy some carpet strips and glue pieces to the bottom of the chair legs.

There are regular nylon tips available in stores like Lowes & Home Depot. They come either with built in nails to go into the bottom of wooden legs or with screws for metal legs

Rubber Tips....they are easy to put on...just push them on....they last for years. You can usually buy 4 in a packet.
