Why don't people pick ones who REALLY could, I mean ok Jeff George is a JOKE but still. Well if I was in an arena league I would proably try to get Kordell Stewert. Not sure he can play at an NFL level because, although I liked him, he had a problem with emotional control. If he threw an INT it would throw him off for like the rest of the game. Actually if I was the Raiders I would have considered giving Tommy Maddox a try before signing Jeff George. Yeah he didn't do too hot last year BUT still better then signing up Jeff George.

For all you naysayers accessible, wealthy Gannon became meant to be all washed up even as he got here to the Raiders. He became not danger-free in Gruden's scheme, if he were, Chris Simms or Brian Griese would were professional Bowlers over the years he has been at Tampa Bay. They truthfully favor to flow after a Veteran QB because even as they DO draft Russell they'll desire someone to mentor him. Now enable's be logical about this, Kurt Warner has mentored Marc Bulger, Eli Manning, and Matt Leinart. He has an excellent Bowl ring and became an MVP. i'd say he can be a good candidate. Drew Bledsoe has mentored Tom Brady and Tony Romo. He has an excellent Bowl ring. He can also be a good candidate. Jake Plummer hasn't mentored every person yet likes to throw the lengthy ball. even as he's unquestionably not an excellent QB, he can win more effective than 2 video games for you and which will be a step contained in the right direction. Kerry Collins is washed up and has lost all his self belief. i imagine he may have a foul outcome contained in the locker room also. My advice will be to flow after someone like Jeff Garcia. even as he would not extra healthful into the conventional Raider philosophy of toss it lengthy, he would extra healthful properly into the USC type offense which i'm particular the recent coach will be wanting to carry with him. the different guy who may be on the trading block will be Byron Leftwich. If the offensive line can seem after him, he will be effective even as healthful. i imagine a severe draft %. will be required to get him even with the undeniable fact that.

Kerry Collins, oh wait, the Titans just signed him. What were the Raiders thinking. The raiders would have been better off signing Kenny Stabler

Jim Kelly for the Bills. Anyone would be an upgrade at this point, even a 46 year old Jim Kelly.
