Would love to go back and live there. Altho Im originally from the Phils who's now living in Europe, I would choose Sg as the country to live in in SE Asia. Everything works (transport,etc) great food, safe and clean. Fabulous airport too!
Hoever, it is too small and can get boring. The solution: We go off to nearby Thailand, Philippines, etc to get a change of scenery. And this is once again, an added perk!

Its a clean (though not as clean as the media reports) and safe place. A concrete jungle with not much character (except Arab Town) and quite expensive compared to KL or HK or BKK.
The people are rather arrogant and not friendly and things in general are dull, lifeless and boring.
Its an OK place to retire I guess.

singapore is small, nice and clean, the people are friendly and disciplined. there's a lot of nice places to see like sentosa and the night safari.

u need only 48 hours for sight seeing....

I haven't been, but a good friend of mine has. He didn't like it much.....too sterile. Very clean though, apparently.
