you say that the Palestinians should give them back their land because it was theirs in the first place, well California used to belong to Mexico, but your not to happy about the grooving Mexican population there. why is that?

You've got things wrong. It's all about money and power, not heritage of any kind.

Besides, even if cultures had to start being accountable for their imperial misdeeds, the Mexicans in California would have to give it back to the Natives who inhabited it before the Mexicans took over. Then, those Natives would have to hand it over to the Natives before them, etc, etc.

In the area of Palestine, the Palestinians would have to give the land back to the Ottoman Turks, who would have to give it back to the Aramaics, who would have to give it back to the Phoenicians, who would have to give it back to the Babylonians, who would have to give it back to the Romans, who would have to give it back to the original Hebrew tribes (no relation to the ones there now), who would have to give it back to the Philistines, who would have to give it back to the Egyptians, who would have to give it back to the Hittites, etc, etc, etc.

How about the land YOU'RE on? Who do YOU have to give it to? If you think there was no one there before your culture, you're wrong. You took it from somebody. EVERYBODY DID.

Palestinians had a chance to keep their land but chose not to accept Israel in 1947.

Palestinians do have their own land now...governed by Humas.

The people of California voted to join the Union in 1849 under direction of then Gov Mason after petitioning President Polk.

If your a Mexican-American your not really representing the hundreds of outstanding ones that have given their lives in the War on Terror, or any previous wars that our Mexican-American soldiers have fought. A very famous one received the Medal of Honor in Vietnam, I know because I was a young Sergeant on his SF Team.

So, California use to belong to Mexico. Alaska use to belong to Russia, and Louisiana use to belong to France. In all of these cases the United States of America purchased the territory, and it was not taken away.

After WWII, England who had responsibility for the Middle-East are the ones who decided to give this piece of ground to form a country named Israel. Israel is the ones in the kindness of their hearts that gave a piece of ground for the Palestine's!
