It's our 2nd year anniversary and we are still going strong! The first year we were together I go my partner a ring along with some other stuff. This year I don't know if I want to get jewlery again. I made a gift basket, got some stuff pet supplies (loves animals), but for the main gift I don't know what to do. My partner works a job they love but makes very little. I wanted to help out by giving a 250 check to start an IRA (Individual Retirement Account, for those who don't know). They could contribute to it monthly and it would obviously grow and grow. I know love isn't about money, so don't answer me back with all that love stuff, this would seriously help my partner out in the long run and I would like to know if you think it's a good anniversay gift? I mentioned I wanted to do it before and they didn't seem to decline. This is a gift not a charity, lol.

Well I tend to be a little more financially centered than some, so I don't see any problem with this gift. In fact, and IRA is designed as a retirement savings, so it almost seems like you're making a commitment to grow old with her. That's sweet.

Ooohhh i'm just about at 2 years with my boyfriend, Congrats to you!! For our anniversary we went to the situation the place we had our first date, I made him a college with all of the photos human beings from the 12 months (x-mas, valentines day, birthdays, and so on) It got here out sooo nice and it truly is from the guts, it truly is unique & significant. I even have been given him a blockbuster present card, a splash pop corn bucket & filled it along with his well known candy & his well known bottle of wine, and after dinner we went back to his abode and watched a action picture and sipped on wine. The comedy club concept is powerful too, in case you tell them beforehand which you're celebrating an anniversary they are going to probable provide you extra effective seats & announce you 2 (and probable make relaxing of you too lol) i'm specific something you do would be specific. i did no longer go too loopy for the anniversary because of the fact i am going all out for his Birthday, Christmas & Valentines day. solid good fortune!

I am happily married for 3 years and I think that would be a great gift. Just when she opens it explain to her why you thought this would be a great gift. Tell he it is the gift that will help her out in the future. I think you will be fine.

I thought 2nd Anniversary gifts were supposed to be made out of Callico?

Not only is it a great idea but it can be repeated year on year and it has a forward looking sense about it "growing old together towards our retirement..."

Congratulations!
