You have to be careful. If your parents will flip out if you tell them then I would give them the "But, I'm a teenager!". If you know your parents are going to be cool with it I would ease it on to them and then tell them, blatently. Just don't screw this up because your dating life during your school years is going to be a big challenge if you do.
