Funny......
(not your question , I just think it funny that someone that goes by the name of "FreakBoy" drives a minivan.)
Take all the other stuff off of the key chain & insert just the Key.
Make sure your vehicle is in "Park or Neutral"
(put your foot on the brake & jiggle the shifter lever to make sure)
Now with your left hand, pull or yank the steering wheel hard, while turning the key with your right hand.
10 points says I solved your problem ! THANK YOU !

Try jiggling the shift lever or steering wheel as you turm the key. Sometimes the linkage which locks the steering wheel and shift lever get stuck and a little wiggling will move them just enough for everything to line up. If that fails, try pressing the brake pedal as you turn the key. You could also try jiggling the key, moving it slightly out of the ignition. Other than that, I'd say the ignition switch needs attention, could be broken inside. Usually they don't go bad this quickly, but some key rings have a lot of weight which adds wear to the ignition switch to cause premature damage.

Move the steering wheel. The ignition lock also locks the wheel and, if there is too much pressure, the key is very hard to turn. Moving the steering wheel releases the pressure. When you turn the car off make sure the steering wheel is in the front position; the wheels are not turned.

Something that has caught me many times was that the steering wheel was turned tightly against the ignition lock. Once I rocked the steering wheel back, I could turn the key. The steering wheel may require a firm pull to get it to release the lock.
Ignition locks do wear our, especially if you have a big, heavy key ring. The more weight there is on you key ring, the more stress it puts on your ignition lock.

It's your steering wheel. There was pressure (from turning the wheels) on your steering wheel when you shut it off last time, and the pressure makes it nearly impossible to turn the key without taking that pressure off the wheel. Try to turn the key while you try to turn the wheel to the right, and then try turning the wheel to the left while turning your key. One of those directions should allow the key to be turned. You may have to tug pretty hard before the key is freed. Next time when you stop, make sure your wheels aren't up against a wheel stop and you allow the wheel to go to it's relaxed position (no hands on the wheel) before you turn it off.

Wrong key,
Bad lock cylinder,
Key not in properly.
Try and wiggle the steering wheel. Also shoot a bit of WD40 into lock cylinder. If that doesn't work, call the rollback!
