Going into court to fight for custody of my daugther was the most terrifying thing I have ever done in my life.I won but I knew I had been prejudist against before walking in.The odds were stacked against me.Why?I quote my solictor "Judges are less likley to give a father custody of a daughter because they fear child abuse" WHAT!!?? Fathers-For-Justice started well but ended up doing more harm than good to the cause.Blair signed us up to the Human Rights Act.Where are the human rights of Fathers to be treated without prejudice,by the ******** judges who give pedo's short sentances, yet punish minor offences with the wrath of God?
This government seems obsessed with intigration and anti-racism,but what can be more racist than pre-judging a father who goes to court in the interests of bringing up his child in a PROPER loving enviroment, unlike the one provided by the child's Mother. When is my country going to wake up and realise some fathers are much better parents.

Its true, fathers are not thought of in the same regard as a mother. It's because a mother, unlike a father, should have a natural, maternal and motherly instinct. Women usually make better single parent homemakers than men do, just because of that fact. They carried the child inside them and so they are supposed to have a much better bond and connection to the child and so, are better parents. But this isnt always the case, as is obvious with women who abuse and even kill their children. Several hundred years ago all of this ^^^ made sense because mothers were home all day and fathers were out working, but now with working moms and stay at home dads I dont think it matters any more. Its just another one of our wonderful outdated misconceptions. It wont change until men like you show the world how important a dad is and how not every man is out to hurt someone. Good luck and blessed be

i totally agree in fact i know that there are some great fathers out there fathers for justice did do harm in Canada at least this one disgruntled daddy climbed the bridge with a sign that says daddy loves you on it and he stayed there for god knows how long it was a disaster the entire city of Montreal was paralysed,i don't know but he could have fell ,he could have caused an accident thank god nothing happened but i found it strange and it seemed dangerous all the less reason to leave a child in his care to me it defeated the purpose several other dummies have climbed the bridge since in protest .....as far as the laws go its really hard to prove a mother is unfit no one wants to believe mothers can be incompetent its sad but true hang in there while it doesn't happen often i know of men who have won this fight

I wish you the best my friend. But the justice system in this country is so skewed towards women in so many ways. I hope indeed the day will come when they realize that justice should not categorize the American male as irresponsible. Good luck to you. P.S. Most children who end up in trouble or in jail come from single-parent homes, headed by irresponsible MOTHERS!

You're right. I saw a commercial once at the time I was fighting for my kids (and won). It was an add for an attorney. It said, "If your ex-husband (not ex-spouse) isn't paying his child support, call us." I called and raised a little hell for their assumption that only ex-husbands will be paying child support. Mine are now 15 and 17. Did the court automatically assign child support like they do to men? Nope. I have not recieved a penny and she's still sitting there doing her beloved drugs.

If fathers were naturally better parents, males would have the uterus.
